The caraBdanza Company was founded in 2013 by the impetus of its Director Gonzalo Díaz, a dancer and choreographer with a career forged alongside great names in national and international dance. caraBdanza is a stable group that draws from the artistic quality of its dancers. The Company develops its own language, based on ballet and contemporary dance, always in search of technical and aesthetic excellence, aspects that bring its performances closer to all types of audiences.

Team

It consists of dancers from different countries around the world: Italy, Belgium, Japan, Great Britain, Australia, and of course, Spain.

Experience

The company has received recognition for its work with several awards at the “XXI Choreographic Contest of Madrid”; the 2nd Prize at the “VII International Dance Contest Burgos – New York”; and has participated in prestigious dance festivals such as the “XXIX edition Madrid en Danza” (Spain), “Alto Jonio International Dance Festival” (Italy), and the FIB dance of Benicasim in the last four editions, among others. The company’s latest titles "Links" (2015), "The Nutcracker" (2017), "Accident" (2018), "Alice in Wonderland" (2019), "Haiku" (2020), "Four Seasons" (2021), and "COCOON" (2022) have toured many theaters across the national landscape with over 100 performances in recent years, receiving significant recognition from critics and audiences, and becoming candidates for the Max Awards on several occasions.
